HONG KONG, 17 September 2025 — IQAX, the digital trade intelligence company is pleased to announce that the Colombian Customs Authority has recognized the use of IQAX electronic Bill of Lading (eBL) for import shipments into Colombia. Currently, the IQAX eBL issued by COSCO SHIPPING Lines can be verified through Doc Viewer App offered by GSBN. 

Traditionally, paper BLs are physically passed between parties such as shippers, freight forwarders, banks, and customs officials. With IQAX eBL built for ease and trust at the border, Customs officials can simply scan a QR code to instantly verify the authenticity of the eBL against trusted data anchored on GSBN’s blockchain-enabled infrastructure. This approach is simple, secure, and fast, with a streamlined verification process. This reduces manual checks and minimizes fraud risk by harnessing the immutable record of blockchain—all while accelerating clearance speed. This milestone enhances import efficiency and security, lowers barriers to paperless trade, and expands the footprint of IQAX eBL across Latin America.
